Brady National Bank History

 

In early 1905, $50,000 capital stock was subscribed by ranchmen and businessmen and on May 15, 1905, Mr. Henderson and others made application to the Comptroller of 

the Currency to organize the Brady National Bank. Approval was received on May 29, 1905. On June 15, 1905, Mr. Henderson, F. M. Richards, John P. Sheridan, T. J. Wood and T. J. Spiller signed the organization certificate. The charter was granted July 8, 1905 and the bank opened for business on Monday, July 10th with F. M. Richards as President, John P. Sheridan as Vice President, F. W. Henderson as Cashier. The new directors approved the purchase of building and fixtures from Mr. Henderson for $9,250.
